Sweet Potato Brownies Only Four Ingredients!

Who says you need flour, eggs, or dairy to make delicious brownies? These 4-ingredient sweet potato brownies are rich, fudgy, naturally sweetened, and incredibly easy to whip up.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup sweet potatoes

  2. 1/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened) [or cacao powder]

  3. 1/2 cup peanut butter

  4. 1/4 cup maple syrup I recommend an organic brand

Bake the Sweet Potatoes OR you can use canned sweet potato puree without any sugars

Four Ingredient Sweet PotatoBrownie

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash the sweet potatoes, pat them dry, and poke holes in them with a fork.

  • Place them on a baking sheet and bake for 50 minutes, or until they’re soft and easy to mash.

  • Let them cool slightly, then slice in half and scoop out the insides.

Blend Everything Together

  • In a food processor, combine the sweet potato, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and maple syrup. Blend until smooth (about 30 seconds).

If you don’t have a food processor, you can mash everything together in a bowl until well combined or use a blender.

Bake the Brownies

Transfer the batter into a small loaf pan lined with parchment paper. Smooth out the top, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15 minutes.

Let Cool & Enjoy!

  • Once baked, let the brownies cool slightly before slicing. You can enjoy them warm, chilled, or even the next day for the best texture.

  • For extra fudgy brownies: Refrigerate overnight – they taste even better the next day!
